Agnus Dei is an association of Catholic families who home school or are interested in home education from a Catholic perspective. “Agnus Dei” means “Lamb of God”. While Jesus is the true Lamb of God, our children are also lambs of God and should be loved, respected, and educated as such.

Our Mission is:

• - to create an atmosphere in which our children are more likely to chose the path to Heaven
• - to promote faith and fellowship among Catholic home schooling families

We believe all of the teachings, doctrines, and dogmas of the Holy Roman Catholic Church as expressed by the Magisterium, without adding to or subtracting from any of Her teachings.  Because of a great deal of confusion among Catholics today, we feel compelled to mention a couple of specifics. Our loyalty to Christ’s Church includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• -We fully accept and embrace the great truth of the Church’s teachings on contraception, abortion, and euthanasia.
• -We accept the Church’s teachings resulting from Her official councils, including the Second Vatican Council.
• -We accept the Church’s teachings regarding priestly celibacy and the ordination of women.
• -We fully believe in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
  

We believe that it is the right and obligation of each Catholic Parent to educate his own children.  For all Catholic parents, this is a call to the total religious instruction within the life of the family.  For us, it is also a call to the total education of our children through home instruction.  We support Catholic home schools; we do not oppose “traditional” Catholic schools except in those instances where their practices are not in union with Rome.
